I was brought up in a Christian family, with one parent being Anglican and the other being Catholic. As I got older I never understood or felt comfortable with either of my parents’ conception of Christianity and started seeking my own path at the very early age of 11. I was fascinated by the metaphysical world early on and studied the Tarot, Astrology and Witchcraft. I became interested in the myths and cultures of the Celtic and Nordic peoples. During my mid teens I bought a Thor’s hammer pendant, never having seen one even in a picture before and wore it everywhere I went with an unexplainable sense of pride and protection. It was when I took up the runes in my late teens that I felt I finally came home. I placed my troth under Éormensyll’s roots and before the Ése and Wan in the fall of 2241 Runic C.E. I have never looked back since that day, and I proudly declare myself Heathen before all followers of the Anglo-Saxon gods, goddesses, wights, elves, and ancestors. My influences are Dr. Stephen Edred Flowers, Swain Wodening, Steve Pollington, Kveldulf Gundarsson, Freya Aswynn and Nigel Pennick, and Janet and Stewart Farrar. In my spare time I enjoy painting; wood carving, writing poetry, composing music and graphic designing. I am currently working on a book of runes and Germanic magic.
